The Epson Stylus Color 777 printer is a compact, lightweight machine for home/home office use. This printer offers fast print speeds and top-quality clarity at 2880 x 720 dpi resolution. Micro piezo ‘Perfect Picture’ technology ensures the tiny, 4 picoliter droplets of printer ink delivered through 144 nozzles for black ink and 48 nozzles for each of the three colors give superb coverage and depth of color. Epson AcPhoto Halftoning gives shading, gradations of color and realistic skin tones.
This printer is capable of almost anything you will need to do at home – documents, photos, greeting cards using a wide range of media textures and weights – even iron-on transfers, up to a maximum size of 8.26” x 10.76”. It comes with several popular, useful programs which make the most of the printer’s capability – Corel Print House 2000 for greeting cards and photo editing, Epson Software Film Factory for image editing and cataloging and Trellix Web for making Web pages. The Epson 777 is compatible with both Windows and Macintosh operating systems, with standard USB and parallel interfaces. The Epson Stylus Color 777i printer is intended for home use, and offers variable print resolution from 360 x 360 dpi up to 2880 x 720 dpi, which enables ink economy or the production of photographic quality images, whichever is required by the user. It uses Epson ‘drop on demand’ micro piezo ink jet technology, with 144 nozzles delivering black ink and 48 nozzles for each of the three colors at up to 4 picolitres per drop, delivered in two directions to ensure depth of coverage. Original brand ink cartridges can be very highly priced and we feel that they are in fact a bit of a rip off. It works quietly (47 dBA) and fairly quickly for text and graphics (6-8 pages per minute) with photos being much slower at over 3 minutes per photo.
