Dell 966 and 968 (DH828 Series 7 + DH829)

The Dell 966 is an all-in-one (AIO) inkjet printer that has all the usual features you would expect in a multifunction printer. It has printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. Although this is an improvement on the Dell 964 inkjet, there are still some issues to be had with the Dell 966. For one, the Dell 966 is very slow to print, considering that it promises print speed of up to 31 pages per minute in black and 23 pages per minute in color. 

 

Similarly, the Dell 968 is an all-in-one inkjet that can also boast wireless capabilities. It promises similar printing speeds to that of the Dell 966 at 31 pages per minute in black and white and 27 pages per minute in color, although in reality you should expect the printing speed to be a lot slower than this. 

 

Although there are some problems with these two printers, there is a silver lining in the way that both the Dell 966 and Dell 968 will work with generic ink replacement cartridges. The Dell-compatible DH828 black and DH829 tri-color standard capacity ink cartridges offered by Peachtree Ink will function just as well as any Dell replacement ink cartridge in these two printers. This means that you can save money on cheap cartridge replacements, as these generic ink cartridges are much cheaper to buy than Dell's own-brand replacements for inkjet printers.
