The Dell 1320c is another one of Dell's offerings to the home or small office printing market. Due to its small size and print per minute rate, the 1320c is perfect for those requiring small volumes of print jobs and who aren't too fussed by how long documents take to print. At just 16 pages per minute for monochrome text and 12 pages per minute for color, the Dell 1320c is certainly the tortoise in the page per minute print race. Although there are undoubtedly much faster printers out there, for its price the Dell 1320c represents good quality for money, and there is no doubt that its print quality is also good, as it has a 600x600 dpi resolution. Also this Dell unit will work perfectly with the re-filled cheap toner cartridges that are available from Peachtree INK.

 

There is also a manual duplex option available on the Dell 1320c, although sadly this is not an automatic feature, and those requiring a network adapter will have to pay extra as it does not come as standard with the machine. Although there are issues with the Dell 1320c in terms of its efficiency and the features it offers, it should be remembered that ultimately this is a printer for those who want a good quality printer on a budget, and the Dell 1320c delivers in this respect. Indeed, the fact that it accepts generic toner makes the printer even more economical, as using re-filled toner cartridges will help Dell 1320c owners to save money on toner cartridges replacements, which can be a costly affair.
