The re-manufactured cheap toner cartridges offered by Peachtree Ink are 100% guaranteed to work as well in your printer as the original cartridge did, or your money will be refunded.  The HP color laserjet 2600n printer is a large desktop machine designed for small to medium sized businesses.  Image resolution is 600 dpi x 600 dpi for both color and monochrome prints, giving a clear, professional result - but it prints comparatively slowly at 8 pages per minute for both color and monochrome. This printer works efficiently using a variety of different media including paper of differing gloss, photo and brochure paper, card and transparencies.  Oddly for a machine designed for business there is no envelope feeder, although it does print envelopes fed manually.  Double sided printing is also a manual activity, with driver support provided.  Standard input capacity is 250 sheets which can be expanded to 500 sheets.

 

Standard memory is 16 MB, with standard connectivity for this model one USB port and one Ethernet, with a host based print driver for networking. It has no hard disk. Compatible operating systems are Microsoft Windows 98 SE, Me (driver only), 2000, Server 2003, XP Home, XP Professional; Mac OS X v 10.2 and higher.

The HP LaserJet 2605dn color printer is a small workgroup or home desktop printer which is wired and connected via USB LAN or Ethernet 10/100 Base -TX USB, with an integral print server supported by a 300 MHz processor and a range of RAM from 64 MB to a maximum of 320 MB.
 
It has a recommended monthly print volume of 10,000 pages, printing up to a maximum size of 8.5 x 11 inches with two standard input trays. It prints double-sided sheets automatically with a print resolution for both color and monochrome of 600 x 600 dpi, which gives a sharp, professional appearance to documents.  However, its print speed is only 12 pages per minute for monochrome and 10 for color, so it is not suitable for a busy workplace.  This model can deal with a good range of textured media, and is compatible with Windows 2000, Server 2003, XX and Millenium Edition and MacIntosh v 10.2 upwards.  Unlike others of the 2605 series, there are no slots for photo memory cards.
