Lexmark E260dn is a suitable high end laser printer for individual and small workgroup use. In the business world, monochrome laser printers still hold a special place. It produces sharp texts in miniscule running costs. This piece of craft outshines its competitors in terms of speed and paper handling capacity. Adding additional paper trays from the standard 250-sheet input tray can yield a total of 800 sheets. A typical office workgroup can accommodate this 29.8 pound machine, even though it may appear bulky for its 10.2 x 15.9 x 14.5 in dimensions. Installation is fairly easy; remove package tapes, load the paper, connect the corn, run the set-up CD and you’re up and running. Lexmark E260dn stays with its promise of 35 pages per minute. 

 

Printing output leaves much to be desired, but tolerable if you don’t need to print documents at smaller than 6 point fonts. Graphic printing also suffers the same quality, with a tendency to lose very thin lines and some gradients appearing smudgy. Photo printing is standard but not impressive, but overall, a good quality to start with. Default black toner can print up to 3,500 pages. You can lower your standard print cost by purchasing re-manufactured ink and toner cartridges (2) that works flawlessly with this model.
