It seemed that with all its heavy-volume printing capability and price tag, Samsung decided to slash the knick-knacks to the minimum. Even the control panel was made simple with buttons like Menu, Power, Back, and Cancel. The monochrome display and 4-way navigation control are also included. The installation of a generic cheap toner cartridges further supports minimalist and cost-saving concepts.
Compensating the missing memory card slot are Ethernet and wired connectivity. The unit works well with a number of operating systems and an optional Wi-Fi expansion card is available. At 66 lbs., the CLP770ND is pretty heavy and its dimensions are 18.3” x 17.5” x 17.9”. It’s a huge printer that cannot be lifted by a single person. It has an effective output resolution of 9600 x 600 dpi and print speed of 33 pages per minute for color and monochrome prints.
