Although there are a lot of multifunctional printers available in today’s market but the days of simple inkjet printers are not over yet. A lot of people are out there who are still willing to buy a cheap printer that will produce decent outputs and for those HP Deskjet 1000 can be a nice solution. It is extremely cheap but one of the pros of this inkjet unit is that it is good for home use and it does not provide below-level outputs in print results. The Deskjet 1000 comes with some simple but quality features that will surely take some notice of the average and not too ambitious consumers. The budget conscious users will surely take a nice long look at it and most of them will be pretty pleased as well. It has been designed to produce quality B/W and color documents with the original ink from HP but if the users think of saving more money during printing then opting a generic printer ink cheap will not be a bad solution either.
The installation of this simple printer from HP is pretty easy which is good for novice pc users. It won’t take a lot of time to get it installed and running; plus the 60 sheet input tray is nice enough for frequent home use. But if someone is thinking about buying it for regular office works then it might not return that much of service in that case. Moreover, provided that it has a 25 sheet output tray that confirms it has been designed for low-cost home use. However, those optimists and chance takers should not be blamed for trying the Deskjet 1000 out for regular office use as it offers some of the cheapest printing solution available today – thanks to the low cost generic cheap ink alternative. But apart from the high quality and low cost printing efficiency, the HP Deskjet 1000 impressed us with its quick printout times.
It is capable of taking a lot of papers at once and prints them out in really fast pace that is pretty rare in similar cheap products. Plus the quality of the printouts should be mentioned here which are satisfactory provided the price the users have to pay for it. But sometimes the papers may get jammed so that is what we found on its bad side. Other than that, it is very compact which means easy to carry and no wireless or any of that sort fancy and advanced features are included here so this means it is not complicated. The printout cost is not high and with the HP cartridges the cost per page would be tolerable enough but for longer use we recommend the users to use ISO certified generic inks for quality and more cost-effective printing. But the price of this Deskjet 1000 beats the other printers out of the water as long as the users don’t demand for something more – like All-in-One functionality.
